Organizational Structure (Top Level)
General:
As shown in Chart A, the executive management level of the structure provides, not only the organizational arrangement, but also the major tasks to be performed in each Unit (department). This is included to provide a birds-eye-view of the overall organizational interrelationship as well as the key functions in a generalized fashion.
The Chart clearly shows the relationship of the President with the Shareholders, Chairman, Board, Quality Assurance, Senate and the Executive Leadership Council (ELC). It also provides the special functions managed by the President and President’s office “staff members”. The staff members make it possible to manage the University-wide support needed in the areas of strategic planning, auditing, technology (ICT, digitalization, etc.), and corporate communication activities (such as media management, cooperation, branding, and promotion).
Chart A, organizationally, is similar to Unit 1.0 structure except the fact that, it includes summary of key tasks performed by each Unit as depicted below.
Unit 1.0: Office of the President & CEO

This Unit is led by the President of the University who provides the overall leadership activities depicted below.
- The office of the President manages and coordinates activities related to Senate, Executive leadership Council (ELC), Governance Board and Shareholders.
- The Office of the President is supported by Secretarial and Documentation Services.
- Quality Assurance & Audit unit which is assigned to handle Academic, Financial and audit activities. The unit also handles relationship between the University and government regulatory agencies. It is charged to cover all quality related activities from KG, TVET to degree programs. Furthermore the unit coordinates the class attendance coordinating activities to ensure proper attendance both by lecturers and students.
- The President’s office staff officers and experts consist of individuals working on innovation, technology, IT/MIS, planning, legal, and corporate mainstream and social media activities.
Unit 2.0: Office of the Deputy President – Treasury,
- Manpower and Enterprise Management.
This unit handles University level Treasury & Finance Management, Manpower management and Enterprise management.
Unit 3.0: Office of the Deputy President – Property,
- Projects & Community Relations Management.
This unit deals with the University level management of Materials Management (Purchasing and store), Property Management, Facility/ Equipment Maintenance management and community relation management.
Unit 4.0: Office of the Academic Deputy President /Provost/ – Comprehensive Academic Operations.
- This unit consists of the activities of Post & Undergraduate Education; General Education; TVET; Research / Development and Linkage; Comprehensive Management of student services and Executive & Special Training. All Laboratories, Libraries, Workshops, and exam preparations are handled by this unit.
